What to do with peeling sunburned skin?

Ok i got a sunburn and i treated it with aloe lotion. Usually i use dermalogica after sun repair but i was out. So i got some the next day and it instantly started working. I have three patches of skin that is still red and the rest tanned but the red patches are peeling and leaving more sensitive skin. i used a curel extra dry skin lotion and it burned. the skin feels dry and i have to go to a wedding on the 21st of july today is the 11th so i have ten days to get the peeling skin gone and relieve the red skin that hurts. help! What can i put on the red patches that will help it feel better and help the peeling hurry up? and how long does the skin peel for? I am wearing a halter dress and i got the burns on my chest and shoulders. Also when i work out, my bra rubs on the burn so what can i do to fix it because i think that is what started the peeling process. thanks in advance

You put aloe lotion on it, i know this sounds really dissgusting but you can also take a bath of vinegar. Seriously it really works, it workstry it i had to do it once!!!!!!!!
Reply:Buy aloe vera gel. It will cool your skin off if it is still warm. It can be purchased anywhere -- wal mart, target, meijer.
Reply:Do Not use any lotions with fragrance. It will burn bad. Best thing to do is use lots of Aloe Vera with E and lots of it. What works the best but is hard to find is Mary-K's night cream. Its very thick and a orange color. You put it on and let it melt a little from the heat of the sun burn than spread, takes the redness out and less likely to peel. You will be cutting it close with the wedding.
Reply:ok same here. thats exactly what happened to me. mine was on my shoulder area. but what you do is get a loufa and scrub away the dead skin. then put aloe vera gel on it. it will burn a little but it helps so much. then hold a cold clothe on it a couple times a day. my burn lasted for about a week. so u should be fine =] good luck!
