Go into the shop Lush.

Their products are made from homemade/organic sources and they are very good for your skin becase the substances are natural.

They have "chocolate" scrub and all sorts.

Reply:i have the same prob. well i have exema. every time i get out of the shower i rub almond or baby oil on my legs (the affected area) and pat dry its really great in the nasty weather! hope this will help.
Reply:you need to use a toner to even out your skin color and do facial peels or masks to take off the dead skin. if you wear makeup and the healthiest of all the foundations i have found is neutrogena oil free foundation. always make sure when you are using face washes or foundations, to look on the label for (non-comedogenic) it basically means it wont clog pores and it won't cause problems with your skin. i am so happy that i found that out my skin has been 100x's better than it used to be.
Reply:Aloe Vera is meant to be one of the greatest things for your skin. Simply buy an aloe Vera plant from a garden store (because nothing is better than the real thing and products of aloe Vera wont work as well) cleanse your face, then cut a chunk of the plant off and squeeze out the clear gel and apply onto face.

Many people swear by aloe Vera , Victoria Beckham used it to clear up her acne.

It is a moisturizer, anti-wrinkle cream, wound healer and spot treatment all in one, and its natural so no nasty unnecessary chemicals.

I hope it helps you, i use it nearly every day ;)
Reply:a facial peel called Etre' is made from ingredients of the Dead Sea. But is kind of expensive, try buying online instead
Reply:Listen good..... products and lotions and potions will not make much of a difference. The only real way to make your skin spot and blemish free is to take note of your diet!

Drink plenty of water, eat fresh fruit and veg and ensure that you have the vitamins and minerals that you need. This might sound boring BUT it's the only way.

If I eat chips I get a several spots on my chin... when I eat well, my skin looks fab.

Avoid, fatty foods, chocolate, chips and crap.

It's all gotta be done from the inside out!
Reply:epsom salts
Reply:Homemade all way, esp. if you've got sensitive skin!

I've got a few recipes for you, there are also many books on amazon you can buy with homemade recipes.

Oatmeal Cleanser:

1 cup warm water

1/2 cup oatmeal

1 tbsp glycerine/honey (humectant attracts water)

1-2 drops of benzoin tincture (opt)(preservative)

Place all ingredients in blender and blend on high. Place in airtight container and keep for 1 week. Massage into damp skin when you use and rinse with warm water.

Tip: Dab honey on spots to make them heal quicker

Strawberry Cleanser:

6 whole washed strawberries (can use frozen)

1 tbsp almond oil

3 tbsp witch hazel

Blend together until smooth. Keep in container in fridge for up to 4 days

Facials: Use any type of sterilised clay for purifying. You can buy and use green/french clay, kaolin (china clay) or fullers earth mixed with witch hazel or water if that is too strong for your skin. (buy from baldwins.co.uk this is the only place i know you can buy it from)

Astringent/toner for sensitive skin:

4 tbsp rose water (you can get from large supermarkets)

2 tbsp orange flower water

2 tbsp witch hazel (from boots, superdrug or any chemist)

Mix all together and bottle in a clean container. Apply with cotton wool after cleansing.

Cornflour lotion

A light non greasy lotion. Perfect for soothing skin.

2 tbsp corn flour

1/2 cup distilled (not boiled unless you are only using it once and not storing)

1 tbsp rose water

Jojoba Moisturising Oil

Most people think that oil is bad bad bad to put straight on the skin. But your skin produces oil to keep water retained within it and protect the skin. Oil is good, in moderation! Excess causes spots and blackheads, too litttle will cause soreness and dry patches. So mix up

60 ml Jojoba Oil (I think you can buy his from Holland and Barrett now)

5 drops each of lavender (antibacterial), tea tree oil (anti fungal/bacterial)and palmarosa (moisturising/soothing). You can get these from Holland and Barrett or baldwins.co.uk

Add to a sterilised container. Use a couple of drops after washing and toning every night to keep your skin glowing. Jojoba is the closest oil to your skins natural oil, so the best for facial use.

For dull skin - Apricot Facial Mask

1/2 cup dried apricots

1/2 cup warm water

1 tbsp non-fat dried milk powder

1 tbsp honey

Blend until smooth. Spread on you face and leave for 15 minutes. Rinse face and pat dry.

For easy masking! Fruit jelly masks

I pack unflavoured gelatin (about 1 tbsp)

1/2 cup fruit juice

Normal to dry skin: Apple/pear/peach/raspberry

Oily: Tomato, grapefruit, lemon, white grape

Combine gelatin and juice in and ovenproof glass container. Heat gently to dissolve (use a microwave for 45 secs on high or place in a pyrex bowl over a pan of boiling water). Place in fridge until almost set (about 30 mins). Spead a thin layer over your face and allow to dry then peel off and rinse your face with cool water.

A lot of these recipes are from a book called Natural Beauty At Home if you'd like to try more out.

Drink enough water and fruit and veg to keep your body in check which will benefit your skin also. Fruits like oranges will benefit the skin because they contain vitamin c and other minerals %26amp; vitamins.
Reply:- cleanse - tone - %26amp; moisturize (morning %26amp; evening)

- exfoliating (2x a week)

for cleansing - try CETAPHIL. its made for all skin types. especially sensitive skin. it's non comedogenic so it won't clog your pores.

for toning - i would suggest either clinique clarifying lotion 2. this is for combination skin. it works really well. ( i suggest you ask a clinique associate to determine your skin type and what prducts you should use) or neutrogena alcohol free toner works really good as well.

for moisturizers- i use cetaphil daily facial moisturizer. again it's non-comedogenic and has spf15. works really well. or philosophy's hope in a jar, really good too.

for exfoliating- i use biore facial scrub. 2x a week. you could also use a mixture of sugar and olive oil. =)
