My skin is changing, what can I do?

Within the past two weeks I have notice light skinned spots on my face. I have never had this problem before and I have not changed my skin care routine. I have also noticed some dry patches if I do not put on lotion immediately.

I wash my face at night with a sensitive skin cleanser from Clean %26amp; Clear. Then I apply cocoa butter lotion. In the morning I wash my face with plain water and apply a SPF lotion by Suave. I don't wear make-up. Just a cocoa butter stick for my lips.

These spots have me worried and I am getting paranoid. has anyone else experienced anything like this and what can I do?

I would like to try a home remedy before I visit the dermatologist. Any suggestions?

My skin is changing, what can I do?
first check your lotion, is it hypoallergenic and non comodonegenitc? and is it meant for the face? try switching to a face lotion. stop putting vasoline on your face. are you washing your face or showering to much? and what are you washing your face with? a change in facial soaps may be needed. try something meant for the face and if nothing else switch to a more gental soap.

Reply:I would just go to the dermatologist. It's your skin, you don't want to mess around with it. Plus whatever it is - it's in the beginning stages and it would be better for you to go to the dr about it early. Good luck!

  1. Skin can change over time and from season to season. It is not uncommon for products that have been working for you to suddenly stop. Sometimes a simple change is all you need. Queen Helene has some great cocoa butter lotions and some scrubs and masques that can help. They are really affordable too. If you want to give one a try, you can download a coupon at

Feel free to pass it on. Hope you enjoy! Good Luck!
