Really really dry skin?!?

i know its winter, but i have REALLY dry skin throughout the whole year. its really dry, that actually it stings sometimes. i have dry skin around my cheeks and near the eyes. rite now..im using ponds dry skin cream..but its not working. ive applied it over a month daily and its not making a difference. does anybody recommend a really good dry skin cream for sensitive skin?

Really really dry skin?!?
Neutrogena Body Firming Body Moisturizer is a really great brand. Try using it daily. If not, I use corozone plus for my extremely dry skin.
Reply:Eucerin is very good. It's available at any drugstore. It's more like a medicine than a cosmetic. The pharmacist may have the most powerful version behind the counter. This is what I would use.
Reply:I used to get xerosis and my dermatologist had me use Neutrogena Hand Cream Norwegian Formula. The cream cleared up my dry skin in about three days. I had it around my eyes and on my arms.
Reply:The best thing that I have used is unscented lotion. It has to be unscented, no dyes, no harsh chemicals. I know it doesn't smell pretty, but the scents in all of these fancy creams just make your dry skin worse. You probably have super sensitive skin and the fragrance is making it worse. I use suave sensitive skin lotion for all over my body. I know, it doesn't sound like a wonder lotion that costs a lot, but it works great and keeps my skin moist and calm. I use dove sensitive skin body wash..once again it is unscented and does not irritate my skin. On my face, I use cetaphil unscented facial cream. It is made for sensitive skin on the face. Also, I have currently been trying this new olay regenerative, the unscented kind. I found it at wal-mart. It doesn't have any fragrance and it keeps my skin moist and calm. If I want fragrance, I mist my clothes before I put them on.

Also, try to use a humidifier in your room when you sleep at night. A cool mist humidifier. It really helps to keep your skin moist and clear up dry skin problems. Up you intake in water, and try to make sure you are getting good fats into your diet like olive oil, fish oil, etc. These things will help your skin too. And eat lots of fruits and vegetables, because the vitamins in them help your skin as well.
