Black People if you ever had this skin problem please help!!!!!?

Okay this is what happened in may 2007 I went to Grande Bahamas and burned almost to death because of the uv rays, i was using coppertone sunscreen 30 and turned out it made my skin cook even more and I looked like I was in a house fire I had 2nd degree burns on my face.

I don't want this to happen again. This time around I am going to cabo san lucas and I want to be able to walk around and have a pleasant time. My skin is very very sensitive to the sun. Please if anyone can suggest a sunscreen not made by coppertone, for black sensitive skin it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Please Help!!!

I am not black, but it seems it would make sense to increase to a higher SPF. They make them up to 55, if not more. I would definitely use something strong, the sun is stronger in those areas, especially with the ocean reflecting it.
Reply:yes use a higher spf ... try NO AD thats what i use ... also be sure to put the sunscreen on at least 20 mins before you go out into the sun ... if you put it on while you are out on the beach or right before you go out ... then its kinda like rubbing butter on your skin -- hence why your skin " cooked" last time
Reply:go natural and carry a umbrella...since your skin is sensitive i wouldn't risk it....♥░♥░■
