Things 4 my skin type?

i need a cleanser, moisturiser, toner, and foundation for my skin type. i have dry sensitive skin but i also have slight acne on the apples of my cheeks, my chin and a little on my forehead. i have dry skin mainly around my eyes and mouth. Please help. i can't find anything that doesn't make something else worse. for example something for my acne makes more dry skin and something for dry skin worsens my acne and so many products hurts my skin like hell.

Things 4 my skin type?
Try Mary Kay. They have cleansers, moisturizers, etc. specialized for sensitive skin. All of my customers that have come to me with your problem have had good results. The key is to really discuss your skin and what you have tried in the past. I can definately help you. Plus, I guarentee all my products and offer exchanges until you get it right. I also have samples to try before you buy. Feel free to email me.
Reply:thanx 4 the advice. just email me about the cost and how 2 get it. it has 2 b in store and in the uk please. thanx every1 4 ur advice. i really appreciate it! :) Report It

Reply:First of all minimize the products your using. You have combination skin. I also suggest you try just washing with plain water and using nutrogena's sensitive skin lotion you should see results with in a week.
Reply:a very good cleanser and exfoiliater is apricot scrub by st. ive's i use it and it works wonders. and if u want a mo isteriser that will prevent u from breaking out but still keep your face soft and protected from thje sun try a dove brand, its very gentle on your skin but very effective. and because u have sensitive skin try using a perfume free foundation, such as the covergirl brand, its called clean or suomthing and its a green compact. all of this stuff is very inexpensive.
Reply:I've had the same problem so can sympathise. I now use dove soap and E45 cream. It's all I can tolerate on my face. My skin has cleared up a lot and isn't as dry but I haven't found a foundation I can use without my skin visibly drying and flaking... Yuk!
Reply:Hi hunny, keep it simple, try nivea, contains no alcohol. Also look at any make up you use if any?which may not be helping the situation. You could possably consult a dermotologist, I did 5 years ago and i now have acne free skin and is less dry.
Reply:I think the best seloution is to buy a moistourising cream it has to be thick get it for dry skin apply it around your eyes and the dry places only .

get a special soap for dry skin. It will stop your skin from drying up and it won't make it greasy your dry skin maybe from using normal soap.

Drink alot of water and eat lots of vegetables .

Ask for the soap at a pharmisy.
Reply:hello, I would highly recommend dermalogica for your skin, go to your nearest supplier and get them to match you with the suitable poducts, these products are suitable for people with acne!

Hope this helps im sue you will find it works fantastic!
Reply:chanel has great skincare and make up. i use them and i have combo. skin type. try chanel, its expensive, but it will treat it 90%.
Reply:having a very sensitive skin u reduce the cosmetics u use since they ll have lots of chemicals...wash ur face with normal water 4-5 times a day.weekly 1ce or 2ce apply fresh fruit pastes on ur face.

1.orange juice

2.avogadro

3.lemon

4.aloevera etc..

since ur having acne problem consult a skin specialist it may also be due to hormonal imbalance.lessened oil in diet.Dont toch ur acne,it may spread.
Reply:I'd avoid soap like the plague if you can but use a clean flannel with hot water and only moisturise the areas you need to. For very dry skin which tends to flake try clarins santal cream. It is expensive but if you are only using a little it does end up being worth it but I'd ask a cosmetic counter for a sam;ple of it first. As someone else said drinking plenty of water really does help. Not sure bout foundation though, trial and error I guess but again ask for testers before you commit to buying.
Reply:God made you this way. I've got dry hands and nothings going to stop it from being dry. So just let it be. We can'nt be totally an exactly how we want to be. I've got a million things I want to chage about me! So just smile and be happy!
Reply:I really do think that before you try any solutions that you should see your doctor and ask to be referred to a dermatologist.I dont think your main concern is the acne sweetie. Its the dry skin and once you tackle that you are well on your way to great skin. You may even have food allergy etc and this could be causing your skin to hurt and flare up.I suffered for many years but if you have a good doctor then go and see them.they wil help as we all like to have nice skin and the confidence to hold our heads high.Dont be ashamed.be proud to be who you are and once you're sorted then hold your head even higher and say hey!! Look at me..Im beautiful not just on the inside but on the outside too!!!

Have faith honey xx

Reply:If you have sensitive skin, try products with natural ingredirts which are less harsh.

try this moisturizer which is made of natural ingredients (14 herbs %26amp; 7 natural oils) it's called Miracle Lotion is for dry skin but I have normal skin %26amp; use it %26amp; gives a really nice glow: (free P%26amp;P in UK) I suggest not putting any cream on the spots but a treatment cream specific for acne).

AS for spots, I'd suggest a face wash or cleanser with natural anti-bacterial agents such as tea-tree; your local health shops should have a good range or try this one:

Also again for an acne treatment cream %26amp; toner ask at your local healthshops, the site above sells them but the're very expensive (but if you don't mind, type in acne in search). Choose a toner without alcohol or astrigents.

Don't use a foundation until your acne heals, becuase the oils/ingredients might make them worse or just use a medicated blemish stick lightly, if you cover too heavily it'll look bad.

Sorry couldn't be of more help.
Reply:go to the clinique counter at your local department store. they stock many varieties of all the things you are looking for and will be able to create a package that suits your needs and requirements
Reply:Try clinique. They have no fragrance etc so dont aggrivate skin. They are very good and will help custom fit a selection to your needs at one of their counters. OR try Avene range (French) in larger boots stores. This range is harder to get hold of (but can be bought on boots.com) but is made for acne prone sensitive skin. They do a green foaming cleanser in a bottle %26amp; toner %26amp; various moisturisers. Then try back at clinique for a foundation for combination skin which will suit both your skin probs. Try boots.com %26amp; search 'avene' and 'clinique' it will show you a lot of info on the products.
Reply:I would use Skin So Soft from avon, they have diffrent types of lotion for diffrent types of skin.
Reply:This works like magic! Perfect for your skin type. http://www.lancome.co.uk/_en/_gb/catalog...
Reply:Best thing for you is going onto avon.co.uk and ordering a catalogue from them. If you go to the skin cleansers theres a page that are doing a deal for 4 skin products for a £5. Buy the following:

clearskin invigorating cleansing scrub(wash with it twice a week, it is a facial scrub that helps buff away pore-clotting dirt, oil and dead skin cells for a clear, healthy looking complexion.)

clearskin dual action cleanser with microbeads(wash twice a day with this product. it helps remove dirt, oil, and dead skin cells to keep pores clear)

clearskin clarifying cover SPF15. (use this product as you would put on foundation. this product is to be used before you go into sun)

clearskin invinsible blemish corrector (this is a small stick, when you see a new spot appearing you use this stick just to cover it up.)

All these products I strongly recomend. I had the same problem with acne and within a month all acne was gone!! I guarentee!! All the best
Reply:Before you go spending a fortune on products( and maybe the wrong type for your skin) Go to a professional and have your skin analysed and ask for advise from them. Most people don't have a clue when it comes to what skin type they are and using the wrong products will only make the problems you have get worse.
Reply:try this... have a read. worked for a girlfriend of mine who had the most sensitive skin in the world ! Not avon prices...but the best usually cost

good luck
Reply:a acne face wash, then a moisturizer toner! use it morning, evenings, and nights!

all of the products can be found at wal-mart less than 5$ each! all will last you for at least two months if you use the proper amount which is pea size amount!
Reply:Oh no! :|

Er, I have dry skin all the time but no acne. I get spots a lot though! Er, I would say try Clearasil 3-in-1 Daily Spot control. This takes away oils from your skin that irritates that acne. Its called 3-in-1 because it helps moisturise as well. Use that once or twice a week. For after-moisturisers, use a light cream, pH7 or vitmain E cream. Don't use anything with too much parfum in them, hence why I think the Avon products did nothing. Spend some time looking around in places like The Body Shop. They have thousands of products there. Don't just pick something up from your chemist because it looks good.

If things continue to not work for you, I strongly suggest you see your doctor so that she/he can recommend something. You can't go wrong here and what will you lose? Skin problems can be quite stressful, I understand.

Best of luck!
Reply:Use this stuff called Spectro-jel, you can get it a thte drug store and it is so gentle it is made for problem skin, i had very irritated skin from trying loads of crap, my doctor recommended this and i have been using it for like 7years now and love it, trust me it will be good for you, you can also use it for a moisturiser
