Bad Skin & Not Allowed To Shave Above My Knee? Have Tennis!!?

My mom won't allow me to shave above my knee at all, and my legs look horrible! Worst than the guys :(


I have tennis conditioning and whenever I run out of shorts that go down to my knees, I use regular shorts, but my legs are so bad. (I know the other girls on my team knows it looks bad too, but don't say anything because they are too nice and they know I can't shave over my knee, but I can never where skirts to school when I want to.)





What should I do? No matter what, I don't want to disobey her at all, so I am stuck.





Also, how do some girls have such good skin when they shave? My legs have eczema, but this year it is getting MUCH better but when I shave, it makes my skin worse no matter how many times I mosturize (and yes, I use proper shaving cream even ones that say sensitive skin), but no use. I have the worst skin ever.





Any advice? :(

When she is in a good mood just talk and then bring this topic up and tell her how it knocks your self confidence and doesn't allow you to play tennis as well as you probably could because you feel everyone is looking at you for the wrong reasons. Go to the doctors about your eczema, they will have the right creams for it =]..


Also mention that all the other girls do and they look nice and wear nice skirts and everything (tell her you wont wear anything short because this could be one reason she is worried about). Tell her you will wear short shorts underneath your skirts.


If it don't work this time, try, try and try again.. she will get bored eventually.. x

Reply:that sucks... I'm sorry I don't have a better answer but you should explain to your mom about your conditions and stuff and she'll probably let you shave above the knee... I hope this helps

Reply:Just shave above your knee. Is she really going to notice. My mom told me not to shave above my knee when I started shaving and she never noticed that I did.
