Olive oil on skin?

I have used everything on my dry sensitive skin, and nothing works.....The only thing that gives it relief is olive oil (the kind you cook with) has anyone haerd of the side effects of using this type of olive oil on the skin? For example can it darken the skin?

Olive oil on skin?
It will darken the skin only if you go into the sun wearing it.

It is a pure natural thing. It is probably better than all the scented things and you probably taste nice too especially if you are wearing virgin olive oil, cool pressed.

For the skin you might like to use a more refined one, like the light oil or the highly refined medicinal one.

You could immerse some nice herbs in it and let the oil draw the beneficial herbal essence, chamomile would be nice and this would also be good for your skin.

I wonder why no more people have answered you, after all its awful to have dry sensitive skin and olive oil IS really good for it.

Do you eat it too? Olive oil also works well from the inside to help the skin and hair. Use it in your cooking.
